On 06 July 2023 was Pride Day Germany. We celebrated LGBTQ+ diversity in the workplace together. Pride Day Germany was launched two years ago to sustainably anchor the topic of equal opportunities in the world of work.
With the call SHOW YOUR CORPORATE PRIDE! the PROUT AT WORK Foundation called on companies to take part in this day with various analogue and digital actions and thus to draw attention to the message BUSINESS CAN BE SO COLOURFULESS can and should draw attention to.
IVT joined the call and distributed badges with rainbow hearts to the office staff at the company site in Rohr last Thursday. By wearing the buttons, the team showed that everyone in the company can be who they are - regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
Franziska Kette, IVT's Diversity Officer and organiser of the action, was pleased about the large turnout and the numerous interests of the IVT team in the background of the day.
With this creative company campaign, IVT also registered with the eponymous Pride Day Contest and now has the chance to win the LGBTIQ+ Award among all participating companies and be honoured at a conference in Berlin in October 2023.
