With this figure, we are almost on a par with all employees in the entire Würth Group. But of course we didn't acquire the two bee colonies just to compete with our parent company, but have always kept the environment in focus. 🌱
With the arrival of the bees, we were able to add another sustainability project at IVT drive forward. In this way, we not only contribute to the preservation of biodiversity, but can also save a lot of CO2 with the bees. Experts estimate that a bee colony can bind up to 60 tons of CO2 per year. With the two colonies, that would be half the CO2 emitted by our vehicle fleet last year. 👀
Also the regional support did not come up short. The bee colonies come from a beekeeping family from Rohr. Chances are that next year we will have our own IVT honey. 🐝
